Art Dream Fund Community’s Vote Starting Soon: Choose Your Own Favorite!

Almost 1,000 Pieces of Artwork Submitted
The $100 million Art Dream Fund’s second open call “Post-Human Age”, with a prize pool of over $100,000, successfully concluded on October 31, 2022. As H.E. Justin Sun, the President of the Fund, pointed out, “The Art Dream Fund aims to identify, nurture, and support quality NFT artists and their works. The most essential quality that distinguishes us from other calls is our core values — great inclusivity and openness; here, every good work has a chance to be seen.” Therefore, the Fund made the open call to digital artworks from both individuals and teams regardless of their age, nationality, or professional background. The Fund has always been committed to nurturing and supporting young artists and creators who are open-minded, daring, imaginative, and able to inject fresh vitality into the art sphere.
During the open call period of three months, over 300 applicants around the world submitted nearly 1,000 artworks, including those recommended by the Nomination and Selection Panel. The artworks range from video, animation, VR, and AR to audio art, digital art, drawing, and graphic design.

Screening Finished! 106 Artists Enter the Next Stage
Through a strict, complete secret ballot by the members of the Organizing Committee, the works of 106 artists covering multiple art forms including drawing, graphic design, video and audio, virtual/digital art, and animation stood out from a vast entry of excellent artworks and stepped to the next stage.

Choose Your Own Favorite
The second selection stage of the themed call has kicked off. From now until November 21, the Nomination and Selection Panel and the community will jointly select 50 artists for the Final Review. During the process, the Panel has 60% of the voting weight while the other 40% is shared by the whole community.
Click on “Read in Full” on the bottom left to be redirected to the Community Vote on Post-Human Age. All artists, creators, and viewers are encouraged to offer their suggestions and advice.

Artworks of the top 50 artists from the vote will enter the Final Review, where the Jury Panel, composed of renowned art curators, collectors, critics, and NFT experts, will join forces with the community to pick the final 14 winners based on the perspective of “providing cross-culture, cross-sector and comprehensiveness for the NFT industry”. The Panel will also give the most professional, open, and inclusive suggestions and guidance in areas including art, finance, technology, and design.
The 14 winning artists will share the prize pool totaling more than $100,000 as follows：
Grand Prize Award (one person): $20,000
Best Creativity Awards (two persons): $10,000
Best Category Awards (six persons): $5,000
Async Visual-Audio Awards (three persons): $5,000
In addition to the prizes, winners will receive:
Social media exposure and publicity on APENET’s and TRON’s resources;
Coaching/mentoring from NFT professionals;
Opportunity to create their own studios in Sandbox;
Opportunity to release their NFTs on APENFT Marketplace;
Opportunity to participate in major offline exhibitions, forums, and artist residencies held by APENFT Foundation.
